Sounds like the relay on the main power board. Some relays are replaceable but most require a new main power board.

Last night my tv worked just fine this morning I go turn the tv on and there's no sound but there is a picture on my 50" Hisense flat screen tv

Check all sources , ie cable box, dvd player or video game. If all have no sound check mute setting in menu or on remote. iI just cable box or sat receiver or evan att uverse box turn them of then back on. the uverse box you may have to remove power. If still no audio request service. The problem is likely the main board or speakers .

Television is not recognizing HDMI inputs

there is a possibility that there might have been a power surge sent over hdmi into the hdmi board on the tv. if on your model the hdmi board is seperate from the sine board then youll have a cheap replacement if not its gonna cost you roughly 300-400 is my guess.

Channel displaying on Samsung 32"LCD TV

Most remote controls have a "display" button. Pressing that is what gets that channel number on the screen. Try pressing it again and the display should turn off. On some brands the display may cycle through various combinations (channel number only, channell and time, etc.) before it goes away, so it may take more than one press of the button.

Green screen

I had the same problem, green screen, no picture, audio OK. DVD player had a picture. Our other TVs were OK. Cable provider had me unplug my cable box for 30 seconds and plug it back in and now it works! I found this out by an online chat with my cable provider.
