I have been enjoying the Solis Master 5000 for a year. It's time to ... I haven't been able to find an actual user manual online...for some reason.

Have to turn it while it is grinding. Don't force it or it will break.

Either your grind is very coarse or your injector seal is bad. The injector is behind the brew unit and has 2 orange O-rings on it. See if you can wiggle the injector?

You boiler is leaking and needs to be replaced. Check partsguru.com or ebay for replacements.

It sounds like the power filter(capacitor) located under the pump is damaged.

Can you get hot water from the unit? If yes then the pump is working, next thing is have you tried to set the grind to the coarsest setting, if yes then there is a blockage in the line, try descaling the machine, if that does not fix it, you might have to open it up or send it into a repair center.

Before you go that far, what does the grind on the coffee puck look like; is it fine like powder or is it course. The water from the machine might not be able to go through the coffee and so the bypass is opening because of too much pressure. Try adjusting grind first.

Order the replacement boiler, (be sure to empty all of the hot water from the boiler first using the hot water function on the right side of your Solis) take your time and open the machine up, the top comes off. There are 3 mounting screws that hold the boiler in place, remove them, be sure to take hold of the boiler before removing the last mounting screw. Remove and replace the wires and 2 water hoses (w/clips). The orange wires the connect to a unique plastic harness are clipped into the harness. Look closely and you'll see a little window in the plastic harness at the end of each orange wire. Use a tooth pick or a pointed device and push the metal clips thru these windows, this unlocks the wires for removal from the boiler.

Try descaling your machine, because it may be clogged. Boilers heat up the water to produce steam. If descaling doesnt work you may have a boiler related problem.

If you can remove the grind hopper(two screws) you can re-index the grinder for a finer grind.
