Troy built weed eater won't feed line

Troy Built weed eater will not feed the line. Have to stop and re-string often. Very annoying.

Check the size of the line,(OD), make sure you are using the correct size, sometimes cheap line will be problematic, also, you said you are re-stringing it, try a new batch of string, the old string inside the hub can get chaffed and will stick to itself...

Why does the weed eater not trim even though it spins?

it is getting hot from friction because you cannot tighten it so the head spins but everytime it hits a wed it tries to stop spinniing because it is slipping from the bolt not tightened. fix the bolt hole with a tap and put in a new bolt

How do you do you but the LINE in a gas fired weed eater troy built

The owners/users manual that comes with these units always explains this in good detail. Go here to view those pages in a Troy Bilt trimmer manual. You will need Adobe Reader. Scroll thru the pages till you get to the section on replacing the string.

The head will not spin on Troy Built weed eatter

sounds like your flex cable has taken a trip south. Pull the shaft off the head and take a look at the flex cable. If flex cable is ok, they your clutch is defective.

Fuel line size for troy built TB20CS weed eater

You probably have found the solution by now I would assume... TB won't tell you this because they want you to buy their stuff..
You probably are looking at the 0.08" diameter that's just a bit smaller than the 3/32". Hope this helps....
