My dyer Kenmore MODEL 110.87511702 is not heating.

There could be a number of reasons why your Kenmore dryer is not heating. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
  1. Check the thermostat. The thermostat controls the dryer's heat. If the thermostat is not functioning properly, the dryer may not heat. Check the thermostat and replace it if necessary.
  2. Check the heating element. The heating element is responsible for generating the heat in the dryer. If the heating element is not working, the dryer will not heat. Check the heating element and replace it if necessary.
  3. Check the dryer vent. If the dryer vent is clogged or blocked, it can cause the dryer to not heat properly. Check the dryer vent and make sure it is clear of any obstructions.
  4. Check the power supply. Make sure the dryer is receiving power. Check the outlet and circuit breaker to ensure that the dryer is getting electricity.
I hope these suggestions help! If you have checked all of these things and the dryer is still not heating, it is possible that there is another issue causing the problem. I recommend having a mechanic diagnose the problem in order to determine the cause and recommend the appropriate repair. Let me know if you have any other questions.

LG model DLE5955S not drying

The common cause of dryers not heating is something causing the air not to be heated and circulating. To circulate, the air must have a good, clear path to enter and exit the dryer. Check the exhaust vent for lint clogging the passage. If clear, the next thing to check is the heating element thermal fuse and thermostats. The fuse can blow if overloaded from clogged exhaust vent or overheating in some way. If blown, it must be replaced. And the high temp thermostat can go bad also. They can both be checked by unplugging the power cord, disconnecting the thermostat and thermal fuse, one at a time and checking continuity with a multimeter. if broken, replace as needed. While you're at it, disconnect heating element and also check continuity. Replace any part that shows an open circuit after checking. You could temporarily bypass the thermal fuse or thermostat and see if the dry heats. It would be dangerous to leave in this state, so only do this temporarily. That could confirm the faulty part.

first things first, check the vent. if the unit isnt vented properly or vent hose isn't clear, it will take forever to dry. if the vent is clear, check the vent thermostat.

My dryers has heat and drum tumbles although seems not to dy the clothes

If the load is extremely large or heavy the amount of time you set may not be enough or the auto sensor may not be working correctly. Make sure the lint filter is clean and that the exhaust vent duct is not clogged. Check all the way to the outlet. Also check to make sure there is air flow from the vent. If not then the fan/blower may be broken or disconnected from the motor shaft. If all is clear then the thermostat may need to be replaced if it is not calling for heat as often as it should.

Electrical breaker goes off when unit turned on was working well, then it caused breaker to go....motor ?????

I wouldn't blame the motor just yet...The very first thing to check is for a venting problem. Make sure the vents are clear and that there is good air flow all the way to the outside. Next, check the thermal fuse and the heating element. Both components can be tested using a multimeter or ohmmeter. Check for continuity. A lack of continuity indicates a faulty component. Most of the time this type problem can be traced to a clogged vent, but you want to ensure that the thermal fuse is good and that the heating element isn't grounded out. Make sure you unplug the dryer before conducting any electrical tests. Really sorry for your trouble and I hope this helped. Best wishes.

My lint screen has no lint on it after drying a load. it also takes more than 1 cycle to dry. I have checked venting and it is clear. Heating element seems to be working, gets hot and goes off, comes back...

generically: Danger Will Rogers Danger...Better try to get inside the cabinet and check the venting....
..possibilities:
Vent pathway plugged (hence no lint) and lint backing up inside cutting flow and thermal sensor shutting down heating element.
..Vent hose in hole of cabinet but not connected to duct inside cabinet and lint is just filling cabinet. (common reason for premature heating element failure--3 times for my aunt fixed by tech--before I saw the vent hose connected only to the cabinet)
...both of the above is a hazard and can burn out the heating element.
..might possiblly be able to back blow through the vent hole and/or lint trap with a shopvac/vacuum cleaner (try **** and blow); but if works still need to verify that air pathways are clear and vent hose connected properly inside--should be fairly obvious inside.
...hope helps
