reset you code again. download from www. remotecodelist.com and try again.Replace batteries with the same type, and clean it the contacts batteries with c. cleaner.
If the problem persist, maybe you have a faulty Syscom,go to the repair shop TV for fix it. see the diagram

Sure it can control the Bose system. Some how I find this remote compatible with a lot of devices but it won't function with the most common devices like a Blu ray DVD player. It won't even turn it on or off. So try and let me know if it worked. Good luck.

I deal with Monster on a retail level. They are a top company and I suggest you go on line to Monster.com or get their 1-800 number

Had same problem, and others have as well. It's not the contacts, but the design of the cradle - the contacts on the unit don't even touch the contacts on the cradle. The only way we get ours to charge is to balance something heavy on top of the remote while it's on the cradle to force the contacts to touch. We use a vase that's on the coffee table, believe it or not.

Programming Notes
• If your device does not respond to the remote after trying all codes listed or your brand is not listed in the code list, use the Auto Code Search method to program your remote.
• Sometimes the first code that "works" with your device may operate only a few functions of your device. There may be another code in the code list that performs more functions. Try other codes from the code list for more functionality.
This is a trial and error procedure; and quiet time consuming. You might have to check different codes said for your device.

if you are technically capable and know how to troubleshooting electroics. the answer is yes.
you going to need a schematic. as far as I know these diagram is very hard to come by. no vendor want to let it out.
