Jura F9 repair needed

I have a Jura F9 machine that I purchased in Germany. It runs on 220 and I have a 1500 watt converter to power it. It needed repair 4 years ago and I sent it to a repair facility in Atlanta. Ir recently stopped auto rinse and occassionally won't make coffee. I can't find that facility now and, the Capresso people in New Jersey, say they can't repair it. Ideas on where to go?

The only sources I have been able to find are in Europe. They do not always wish to ship to the US however. In the US the dealers always want the repair, but seldome wish to sell parts outright. Try this website for parts.

depends on the wattage of your converter..if its a coffee machine, you need a larger converter that will handle the wattage needs of the coffee machine..say if its a 1200 watt unit, you easily need a 1500 watt converter..I lived in germany 3 years..our stereos were 110.. we used huge converters some in exess of 50,000 watts(huge sound system)its a math thing..usually you will need 10% more converter for the wattage size of your appliance..

My Jura Capresso F9 keeps making coffee when no one is pushing the buttons. It is always a big cup, mild. Any ideas what could cause this, other than a ghost who likes weak coffee, as my 5-year-old...

Apparently after a few yrs of use the steam wafting up from a cup of coffee works its way into the electronics touch screen mechanism causing it to turn on by itself...since moisture is such a good conductor for electricity it seems like there is a "ghost in the machine"...credit "The Police" band for that quote...my simple solution was a 6-7 dollar desk fan purchased from Walmart and point it up across the front of the unit...problem solved!...just keep the fan running while you use the unit and save a bundle of $$ not having to send it back to Jura!...Bob in SC
