Some Audio CD tracks won't play E83--

The error code was E83 something i don't remember honestly. Last night i was playing with serato woth no problem at all, the next dj played with recorded cd's and fot that error for the 1st time.

i ejected the track in serato and turned off the deck, and it worked.
but only once, i noticed only some of the tracks in the CDs were not readable. And one week before they all were readable without a problem.

Is this a setting or something wrong with the CD recording? I hope so.

HELP!!!

My PCD390 plays the first 45 seconds of track 1, then goes quiet. It won't play any other track. Suggestions?

I suspect the carriage mechanism that moves the lazer is not moving out from the middle of the CD. Remember CD's play from the middle out, unlike a record, which plays from the edge inwards.
It could be that the carriage track is damaged, bung up with muck or grease, or something alien to the unit is blocking the movement.

What means shuf

That's short for "shuffle". In shuffle play, the player randomly picks a track from the CD to play, so you don't know which one is coming up next. On some Sony models with multiple-CD players, shuffling also randomly picks one of the discs as well as a random track. I don't know if yours is one of them, though.

Hey how come i cant use my loop features on my cdj800 with my serato?

It's the limitations of Serato. Because it's sampling in real-time, the signal cannot be manipulated by the CDJ800. Sorry, there is no way around this. Talk to Serato about this.

1 thing which works is holding the button down then spinning the deck round, let go, turn off the scratch button, press play and turn on the scratch button again
