For some reason the motor is over heating this is a tempture fuse to keep the motor from burning out that automaticaly resets
More then likely you didn't clean it properly that ware I would look now
Odd that you have air coming out of the suction, however it sounds like your inlet valve is not closing, the ball damaged or missing, or the O-ring under the valve seat is missing or damaged.
May be clogged. Push out roll pin with a pin punch and remove assembly.Check plastic pices for broken parts ( black). Put pump in water make sure it's delivering material with valve out. Ports on valve are not that big and do clog.
It will be on the frame, in a place where it is not likely to be splashed by material of damaged. If you are looking for parts, the part number of the sprayer is more important.
There is nosuction on this type of unit it blows air into the pot andforcesitout through the tip have a lookdown the air hose make sure it is not bblocked as low pressure will cause sspitting
Go to Graco's website at www.graco.com/us/en.html. Under the customer Care tab you can look for Instruction Manuals. Search on your model number and you'll get a list of files that refer to your model. Usually the manual and/or parts breakdown are in the first two or three files.
If it comes up to pressure but won't hold it when the motor stops, you have either damaged packings or a bad check ball-to-seat seal. If it's the check ball(s) not seating properly a real good cleaning should take care of it. If it's the packings the only remedy is to replace them.
It could be something as simple as you have the pressure turned down so low it won't appear to be working try to turn the pressure up and see what happens.
The worst thing could be you did not clean the sprayer out properly and now the paint has dried and the shaft is frozen to the packings and the other internal parts of the your sprayer.
Airless won't prime- I always start trouble shooting an Airless that won't build/hold pressure look at sump hose inlet filter (the hose that goes into the paint if its got paint debris on it clean off filter and pour the paint thru a strainer bag into a clean 5 gal bucket-also remove the filter housing on the spayer and clean and flush and replace filter and housing- the shaft or the metal sleave has two ball bearings called "check balls" that maybe stuck turn on sprayer and put a piece of wood on shaft and give it a few good taps this will knock the check balls loose if after all this fails then you need to have new packings put in becuase the old ones are worn this is pretty easy to see because the rod the compresses the paint will have signs of paint on it indicating that the packings are worn.. Note keep rod and other moving parts oiled ith graco throat seal and finally Graco sprayers with the X on them are there (Graco) home owner line of sprayers that sell at home depot they are rated for only a certain amount of Gal per year keep it in good condition and cleaned store with coro-check inside of the pump when you are done using it.....
