If the cold side runs well out of the faucet, and you get NOTHING out of the faucet on the hot side, I would assume the hot side is plugged internally.
Easy fix is to remove the hot supply tube off the faucet, set it in a bucket and turn on the water to ensure the line is clear- if the line shoots water, reconnect the supply to the faucet, remove the stop end, and set it in the bucket, turn on the faucet for the cold side and it should flush inside the faucet and out into the bucket.
This should clear any obstruction in the immediate area.
If step one produces no water- you have a block in the feed pipe and that typically entails replacing a chunk of it if you can’t knock it loose by tapping on the pipe/shocking it out.
Does it run cold? Or not run at all? If cold and bathroom hot, it's piping problem. If doesn't run, valve closed. If no hot water anywhere but runs cold, water heater problem. If gas, fire out.
