I REALLY don't recommend trying to fix it yourself (usually parts are hard, if not impossible, to obtain, and in addition to that, if you DO try to fix it, and you CAN'T, and you're still under warranty, it would VOID your warranty!). I'd say try to contact Saeco, because if you do, usually they will have nifty little tricks for you to try that might fix it, and if it's not fixable, and you're still covered by their warranty, they might be able to replace it for you!

Their contact number should be either stamped somewhere on the machine (usually on the bottom--might be stamped directly into plastic, so make sure you have it in really good light when trying to read) or in the product manual (usually near the back of the book).
Good luck! :)

I have a saeco aroma coffee machine that will not turn on.. This machine has only two thermostats and no reset button visible. Could there be one inside the boiler or should I keep looking?

The Saeco Brand is under the Philips umbrella of companies. The Aroma line is not considered user serviceable beyond descaling and cleaning. However, most devices that heat water tend to have a fusible link somewhere in the power circuit. If you're already poking around inside, trace the power connection (obviously with the machine unplugged) through to the heating elements, sensors, etc. You might find a small "bit" that looks scorched or burnt.
Otherwise, it might be good to contact Saeco and see if there's an authorized repair center near you. The Aroma is definitely pricey enough not to just dump and replace like an old Mr. Coffee.

The steam light on my Saeco Aroma does not turn on (and no steam comes out), even after the brew light turns on and I press the steam button. How can I get my steam to work?

HI
It is probably your steam thermostat that needs to be replaced. There are 2 thermostats. The Brew and steam. If one of them fail it won't heat the boiler for that mode. They are easy to replace.

Saeco how to reset

called saeco helpdesk and with their assistance found the reset button inside the machine (open the top with a screwdriver). there are three termostates. on the middle one there is a button. when you push it you hear a metallic sound. then you have to close everything and put it on again.

how to avoid this problem: it is important that there comes no air into the heater. So you have to watch the water supply carefully and leave the air out from time to time.

How to clean the saeco aroma ??

Buy an espresso machine descaling agent (they come in packets, and you can get them all over the internet), and follow the instructions that come with it. Do NOT use vinegar like you might use on a drip machine.
