HD cable question

I have the FLM 3232 Polaroid TV, and haven't yet been able to get HD to come through on the TV. I have digital cable through Time Warner and have been using a coax connection. When I plug into the 'cable' coax input I get a regular picture without problem. When I switch the connection to the HD coax input, I get 'no picture' when I choose the correct input connector (HD). When I replicate this on my other TVs in the house it works fine, just not the Polaroid. Does anyone have any tips for me on this? Thanks.

I have a UHF antenna connected to a Panasonic PT-44LCX65 and receive HD channels just fine. I also have a Poloroid FLM-3232 that picks up analog fine from the same antenna when the cable is connected to the TV Cable connector. However, when I connect the coax to the HDTV connector I get nothing. Any suggestions?

I have the same LCD and my problem was the same as you, you need a powerful antena like a out dor antena or indor antena whit buster

I have an longtime problem with my flm 3232 polaroid hdtv. I have dish network service with the dual receiver. The 3232 is the second tv connected via a coax cable. it work fine on the tv cable input...

Hello, you probably already have gotten this resolved, but I do have some answers to your post. Any cable that you have running from TV1 to the TV2 will nor give you a true HD picture. You could get a CAT5 cable with HDMI ends, but the longer the cable, the less true HD you have. The best resolution to this is to get an additional receiver, or to just stick with the SD picture. My Polaroid FLM-3232 does not display over air HDTV channels

There is no such thing as a 'digital antenna;' any antenna with sufficient gain and bandwidth will receive whatever signals there are available.
You may have to change the input source via your set's menu so it is looking at the antenna input; it may be set to cable currently.

FLM3232 will not receive channels directly from Comcast Cable

Use the TV/Cable rf jack and auto program the TV.
