Which HVAC system does it have
HVAC Systems - Manual
HVAC Systems - Automatic
Air Temperature Valves
The air temperature valves are positioned by the left and right electric actuators. When the temperature door is in the cold position, air is prevented from passing through the heater core. The door can be placed in any position between cold and warm by the actuator to provide any degree of warming to the air after it has passed through the A/C evaporator core.
in high temps AC units undergo whats called thermal inversion. This is when it blows hot inside and cold outside. I do not believe there is a fix for this. Maybe it is not properly sized for you room? If your unit is too small, it may be working too hard and inverting.
There are many different temperature ranges of thermostats. The old one may have been a 165 degree thermostat. The new one may be a 195 degree one. You will then notice that the gauge will run higher than it used to.
I have a 2000 pontiac grand prix with a digital climate control system.
The heat quit working, it doesn't blow out any heat. Now that it is warm
outside the air stopped blowing out any air. The digital temperature on
the climate control is not correct. When it states that it is below 30
degrees on the ext and it is warm outside the air wont be cold. Once it
starts going above 30 degrees the air gets colder. Today the blower stop
working all together. Was told it maybe the climate control unit was
bad. You can hear the door opening/shutting when you switch the temp
from cold to hot. But there was no heat blowing out whatsoever in the
winter time. Could you please give me your opinion on whether or not it
is the climate control unit or something else?
you have a slow leak in your refrigerant and need to find the leak. you will have to get an AC repairman to come to your house and check it for leaks and fix the problem.
