Hello!
First, check if the Battery inserted in the Camera is fully charged. If not then charge the Battery to its fullest then insert it in the Camera to check its operation.
Next, remove the Battery from the Camera then press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds. Then, reinsert the Battery pack in the Camera and turn it ON and check its operation.
Finally, please check if the menu screen is accessible by pressing the menu button directly or while reviewing the captured images. If the menu screen is accessible then reset the Camera to the original factory settings.
Perform the steps given below to reset the Camera to the original factory settings:
(a) Please press the menu button directly or while reviewing the images to access the menu screen.
(b) Then, press the right arrow on the control button to select Setup option.
(c) Next, use left/right/up/down arrow on the control button to select "Setup 1" option.
(d) Then, select the "Initialize" and OK.
(e) Finally, follow the on-screen instructions to set the clock on the Camera.
performing all the above steps will reset the Camera to the original factory settings.

If, even after performing all the above steps, the issue persists then the issue is related to hardware malfunctioning and service will be required.

Camera closes itself

I think it's rubbing against the ring around the lens. Too much pessure and the lens won't stay out. Or, the battery is low.

When i turn on the camera the lens wont pop open even when the battery is fully charged.... i was taking pictures and it working fine turn the camera off and on again then the lens wont open anymore? i can...

The problem is
1- some dirt somehow got on the outside of the lense. After it was retracted fully in, it prevents the camera from opening again. When you turn it on, if it opens a little bit, try to pull it out NOT too hard and let go a few times. If it opened, clear the outside of the lense. Your camera should be back to normal.
2- If you droped the camera, you probably damaged or dislocated a mechanical part of the lense. You may have to take out the lense by unscrewing it and inspect it for damged parts or disconnected cable. Make sure clean the lense and test it by moving it in and out a few times, before puting it back on the camera.

Good luck!!!!!!!

It just shut off....

it normally indicates a problem with the batteries. Try inserting disposable alkaline battieres in the camera and turn it on.

If the lense is still out at the moment try pressing the play button the back of the camera to view the pictures taken, even with a very low battery this normally close the lense properly and enables you to view the pictures.
