I have a free standing electric fireplace model HBL-155DLP/M20 serial number 20060731282 manufacturer number 16496. The lights still come on, however the heating element does not, and the blower has stop working, it there a fuse on this or does the circuit board have to be replaced?
Might seem like an unusual way to reset a switch but try gently banging the base on a flat object. a tilt switch has to be mounted on a pivot of some sorts. it is probably a mercury switch. take the base apart and see if the pivoting switch is free to move.

you may have tap the saw to move tilt.
The cuttinghead of your compound miter saw can be
tilted to cut any bevel angle from a 90 degree straight
cut off to a 45 degree left bevel angle. Loosen bevel lock
handle (A) Fig. 19, tilt cutting arm (B) to the desired
angle, and tighten lock handle (A) Delta MS250 Instruction Manual Adjusting Pointer Locking Cuttinghead In...
normally they do
they cut at angles across the material
there is also a adjustment at the back of the slide that allows the head to be tilted
there is an angle gauge there and a pointer to give you the tilt angle
by adjusting that and the across the bed angle , you can cut compound angles
set the angle and then test cut as the angle may not always be exact ( setting it on 10 degrees on the scale may be 10 1/2
degrees in reality so testing gets it dead right)
adjust as necessary
Also got error code 01. Unplugged dishwasher, turned off water supply, disconnected water supply line at sink so it had slack to pull dishwasher out of built-in space, removed two wood screws holding dishwasher to counter, pulled it out onto floor, put it on blocks as reader suggested, tilted to side 45 degrees, water drained out onto rags. Then restored to upright, restored supply line and opened valve at sink, plugged back in, unit automatically reset, returned to built-in, reinstalled screws to counter. Worked like a charm. Took more time to read everyone's advice than to do the job (about 30 min.). Thanks.
normally you have to perform move printer level 2 to avoid damage to the printer. But, if you move the printer without taking any dangerous angle then you don;t have to choose level 2, level 1 or no move is OK
It may be that the tilt sensor is not working right. Depending on the age of the chair, it will have either a mercury switch sensor that will disable drive when it sense a tilt of more than about 10 degrees, or older ones use two limit switches that are activated when the tilt reaches a certain setting. If one of the switches is stuck, it won't allow the chair to move but the tilt will still function properly. You'll need an experienced tech to test if you don't have the tools or training. Good luck.
AL01 indicates activation of the anti flood device.
It sounds like water has leaked into the base of your machine. Pull
the appliance out, unplug it from the wall socket and tip it rearwards
about 45 degrees. Drain the water out and once empty the anti flood
should reset.
Try the machine again. If it faults during the test you may have a leak into the base.
if it is anything like a monitor - look on the right side bottom for a slider - reset temperature adjust. just move the slider to a lower temperature. if you have a power outage, the display starts to flash 88:88
This usually happens whe you have a blockage in the waste pipe. For some reason, once you've cleared the blockage, the dishwasher doesn't detect that water has now passed through the system, even if you send through more water via filling the base (I did this about 4 times totalling 24litres of water and it still didn't reset).
Tilt the dishwasher back (I only had to tilt it about 30 degrees), this resets whatever switch it is that turns the pump off and allows it to fill with water.
Yes tipping the unit on its back at 45 angle for a few minutes worked. However, when the dishwasher was pushed back under the surface the problem re occured. We solved this by altering the feet at the back so that it was just slightly lower at the back and it works fine again. Excellent advice on this page. Has definately saved us a call out fee.
Yes opening the unit with the eject button then manually closing the
unit halfwaly, and disconecting the battery for like 30 secs cured my
issue as well. Thanks
