Freezer works ok but the fridge doesn't

even with the RV perfectly level the same problem occurs.norcold model #6162 rv fridge

I am using gas and the temp control is all the way on coolest setting

Are you running gas to oper the frig in the rv or electricty if only using the heating element for the frig RV STYLE ONLY maybe starting to make and break causing intermittent cooling or not enough cooling in frig but at all thing concerned try to increase you temp setting higher if you have that option

Have a Norcold 3-way fridge for RV. Model 8663 - have taken it out and laid on left side for 1 hour - plugged into electric and fridge still does not get cold - it starts to get cold and after awhile it...

Not sure who said lay it on it's side, but it should be turned upside down for 24 hrs, then back upright for 24hrs, then restart and see what you get.

I have a Norcold gas/electric Fridge in my rv. The model number is 8662. I had th rv parked in my driveway and didn't realize the fridge was on. My driveway is no where near level and the fridge stopped...

Shut it down, level it up and wait 24 hrs before turning it back on.

u need to open the thermister up its located on the back on the fin also check to make sure u are getting full 12 volts to the fridge check the voltage at the fuse

RV freezer cools, but fridge section doesn't

Sir, To solve this problem, you must open the compressor area at the back bottom of the refrigerator and chek the temperature of the pressure line. If the temperature is between 55celcius to 60 than its ok. Or else you need to change the refrigerant. I suggest you to contact the service authority.

I have a norcold fridge model #N811RT and the flash code blinks 5 times then stops then repeats. both fridge and freezer are not cold were are currently living in are 5th wheel and it was currently -30c for 3 days any help would be of assistence.

in your refridgerator there is an internal thermostat on the cooling fan u can move up or down it should be placed on the last finn to the right looking at the fridge
