Does the motorola G have a removable battery?

The moto e5 plus uses a non-removable battery. The battery should only be replaced by a Motorola-approved service facility. Any attempt to remove or replace your battery may damage the product and will void your warranty.

The Atrix 4G (MB860) has a removable battery.
The Atrix 2 (MB865) has a removable battery.
The Atrix HD does not have a removable battery.

I believe the battery for the original Atrix was SNN5865. but look for the SNN number on your battery and then you can look online for availability of that same battery. Please ensure you use Motorola Original batteries rather than knock-offs.

The battery is non-removable. You can take the battery cover off but you can't remove the battery.

On the back of the phone at the top of the battery door there is a little clip or button you push down while at the same time pulling away from the phone. The battery door should come right off. then you remove the battery by prying from the top of the battery outward.
