When i closed my gas door it locked, how do i open it?

Some cars have a semi hidden wire in the trunk that you can pull to open the door.

Try pushing the gas door.Ok

Think its been jammed shut ,ask a local mechanic to have a look ,it might need prising open with a big screwdriver

Your problem is the door thinks that it is already locked and closed. You need have the sliding door unlocked, have someone pull the handle as if they were going to open the door and then use a tool to "Open" the latch that normally would hold the door closed.

I do not believe you have access to the mechanism inside the back of the car to operate it from the back seat or the trunk. I believe the access to the mechanism is through the back seat panels and not through the trunk covers in the back. If the cable broke at the lever under the seat , you may be able to unscrew/bolt the lever holder and grab the end of the wire with a pliers and open the door. If you have an old credit card or stiff poster board you may be able to slide it into the opening side of the door to push the angle pin that locks it closed to open the door. Typically the angled pin locks into a slot in the door. The slot in the door is like a long tab. If you place a piece of card board over the paint and gently push a flat blade screw driver into the gap you can gently pry/bend the tab enough to open the door. If the tab is bent you can leave it that way so you can open the door by hand until you replace the cable. Then after replacing the cable , just bend the tab back so the door locks again. Most gas doors have locks just to keep honest people honest.

If it´s the passenger side where the gas tank fill is, there is a automatic safety device that locks the sliding door, that prevents to open the door while filling gas, be sure that the folding cover of the gas tank is fully closed and nothing is jammed inside

No. But you can open it from the boot - take apart the trim and unscrew the lock. Later you will gonna have to replace the broken lock or fix the door somehow.

Is the remote control for the locks just not working? If the doors are unlocked, the trunk and cas tank cover should be unlocked as well. I have a slightly later model, but that's how it works with mine. Are you saying that you can manually open the doors with the key, but when you do, it doesn't unlock the gas door like normal? If so ,there's a manual pull tab in the trunk to open the gas tank flap on the same side of the trunk as the gas tank flap. After it's open, you can of course close the gas lid flap again, but it won't lock again if the auto-locking system isn't working. You'll have to get the dealer to replace the motor if it's gone out. This should get you in the gas tank for now though. Good luck!

Open the holstery in the trunk, you will find a pull ring, just pull it and the gas lid will pop open.
