I have sim city 3000 and it doesnt have a code to install it do you know what to do as i would like to play the game thank youi also have the sims deluxe edition which i bought bothof them at a car boot and they have not got the code in and i cant install the games with out this code or something which it has not got can anyone help wit the code please as i would like to install them to start playing

Try to uninstall it, close any other programs you have open, and reinstall it.

Go to device manager and rollback the driver and wait for newer drivers

these are different for each CD. So their is like no solution. I know it sucks when you lose those.

If you installed the game using a cd then let the cd remain in the drive when you start the game, If you installed it from the HDD itself you will have to mount it to the virtual drive and start playing.

I also have Sim City 4 Deluxe edition, and the package came with 2 CDs. Which were, the download and installation CD, and the gameplay CD. Now if you put in the Game Play CD without putting the Download and Installation CD in first, then that message might come. And if not, then the Gmae Play CD might be damaged, you can try rubbing alcohal and blowing on the CD, but if that doesn't work, see if you still have a warranty and try replacing the CD.
