Hi,
Unplug the unit from the outlet for 30 minutes and then re-plug it and then check if the symptoms still the same. If so, this is an indication of faulty I/O circuitry and video processor in the main board. This board is repairable only at the service center because the parts are surface mounted and quite sensitive. If you are going to DIY, I would advice you to replaced the entire mainboard rather than troubleshoot it because the cost is almost the same. Obtain the board from your local Samsung service center or online. Check the actual part no. of the mainboard on the white sticker on the board itself and then search it online.
Also, check if your unit is still under warranty/extended warranty period, if so avail it because the manufacturer will fix it for free. Opening the back cover will void the warranty.
Hope I helped you.
Have a nice day!
Thanks for using Fixya.
Well there are two possible reasons. 1st- make sure that to do a factory reset on the amp. while it is on Press DVR/VCRat the same time press the power button (Standby) clear will show on the screen.system is now back to defaults try the video.
2nd If the video still not working check the TV out settings. Press Setup - Input Out put assign - Monitor Out- Make sure it's set to HDMI. and the resolutions is set to Through. if this setting is ok and you problem is not solved. it could be an issue with the board or your hdmi device it self.
Let me know?marc

The flashing blue light shows that the TV is receiving I.R. from the remote but doesn't mean that the signal being received is recognized by the Samsung. If you have a "universal" remote then your TV code may need to be re-entered/reprogrammed...changing batteries in a "universal" will usually require it to be reprogrammed. Also...because of the remotes construction (rubber membranes with carbon dots that short across PC traces) I've seen certain buttons stop working altogether.
