Look at the end of the wash and no water in the bottom, it is OK. The water is pumped out through the pump. Hence you would have found the water mid way. Pump will start after the wash cycle is fully finished it's function or as per the float level!
Sounds like the door is not closing properly so humid air is coming into the fridge OR door not closing properly and the humid air is condensing around the door so it is leaking the condensation OR
The water from the defrost cycle is not evaporating so it overflows from the evaporator pan above the compressor. You better call a service technician before getting some floor damage (Do not call A&E)
Sounds like the pump. When it first fills the pump recirculates the water, then it comes on at the end of each cycle to drain the water. The pump is on the bottom of the machine, on the right side.
This sounds like a check valve for the drain hose has failed. This check valve is in the pump discharge port and prevents water left in the hose from draining back into the tub.
Water leaking from the bottom usually indicates either a bad hose , bad hose connection to the pump or a leaking pump. Also sounds like the machine is not spinning out. Is there water left in the tub at the end of the cycle?
