If you are talking about the DC jack in the laptop, it will need to be replaced or repaired, the laptop must be dismantled down to the motherboard level to access the plug.
It hasn't been configured to broadcast its SSID (Service Set Identifier). The SSID is the broadcast "name" of the network access point. By the way, as network administrator, you must assign an SSID to your WAP (wi-fi access piont), and then enable the WAP to broadcast it.
With some broadbands, you will have an on and off connection like this. Wait until the next day and see if you can recieve anything then. If not, you may have to wait until another event is due. Check your broadband connection settings.
You cannot connect to wireless internet due to wep key password because it is secured that requires password. try to connect to your home internet or unsecured connection

The EOC-3220 has several settable signal strengths. If you have the signal strength turned up to maximum, but a PC relatively near the access point cannot detect the access point, then you may have a blown radio. Another thing to check is that you have left the SSID broadcast visible -- if you have made it invisible, it will look like the access point is not broadcasting.
Try connecting your printer directly to the wifi router/switch in a shared network configuration. Then go to your router settings, find the local ip address add this as the 'host'. Your settings should be as follows:
Driver : HP Mobile Printing Bearer: Socket/HP Jetdirect Access
Piont: My Home Wifi (kaba) Host : ip address of you
printer user : Blank ( tried my windows username,no
use) port : 9100 Printer Model: Officejet Printers
You will have to reconfigure your drivers on your pc as well. Mine installed as a wireless shared printer even though the printer is not wireless but I have it connected to my wifi switch for sharing and it worked fine.
Is this access piont connected to a router? Can you get online through the router? If you can go online through the router also check the status of your wireless connection. Make sure its connected and it's getting a valid ip address.
