SOURCE: 1994 Buick Skylark, 138,000 mi.,V-6, auto trans.

one thing ive warned my friends to never do and that is to never have your trans flushed cause you may have new fluids but what about the trans filter its old and iots there for that reason to keep dirt and metal; shavings from the bands so try having your oil and filter in the transmission replaced , pull your trans dip stick and on a white piece of paper put a drop of trans oil that you have in your trans at that very moment it should be redish pink but if its brown and smells really bad then the problem is in the oil and filter . change it before u have to replace the whole trans

How do I clean paper feed sensors on a swingline EX100-07 shredder

Some have an infra-red sensor and just need cleaning with a brush. Some have a lever and connect to a microswitch. The only way is to take the head apart.

My mower dies when i engage the blades. if i choke it while engaging the blades and then shut off the choke it will run fine. what are some things to look for?

When last was it properly serviced. A good service might just have it running good again. If the engine has done a lot of running/work it might need a overhaul as it will lose power over time due to normal wear and tear causing it to die when a load is applied. (Lack the power to overcome the initial inertia required the get everything moving.)

Runs for about 5 minutes with blades engaged, then starts cutting out and dies if you don't disengage blades. Will start back but dies immediately.

it would be nice to know what you are working on. but i will guess. under a load the engine requires more fuel. you have a fuel problem. depending on what you are trying to fix. could be a fuel pump, fuel line, fuel filter, air filter, carburetor out of adjustment, dirty carburetor, water in the tank, dirt in the tank, plugged tank screen, bad fuel solenoid,

Engine starts idle well and sshut off when attempt engage blades

Chances are one of two sensors is broken or out of adjustment.
Either will cause engine shutdown when blades are engaged.
The first is the seat sensor. If you rise out of the seat with the blades engaged, the engine will die. That sensor is usually a switch located under the seat. The second is the Reverse lever (Or gear position). Newer tractors will shut off if operated in reverse with the blades engaged. This sensor may be more difficult to find, but it is usually another switch located around the gear shifter (or hydrostatic control lever).

Hi , i have a craftsman 16hp model 944 602261 the engine run fine and the tractor work fine on each speed but when i engage the blade the engine dies the blade are free any idees ???

When you engage the blades you are putting an extra load on the engine. This mean it needs more fuel and more air to keep running.

I suggest cleaning or replacing the air filter, it may be clogged just enough to let the engine run with little load, but when you put a load it cant get enough air. This happened with my string trimmer this summer.

If that doesn't fix it then I recommend pulling off the carburetor (between the air filter box and the engine), taking it apart and cleaning it with carburetor cleaner. If its getting enough air at full load then it isn't getting enough fuel, there could be a partial blockage of the jets inside the carburetor.
