Audio sounds muffled - Audio Players & Recorders

The manual says that the stereo microphones are either side at the rear of the flash. Make sure nothing is near them. It also says that it can be affected if the flash is raised. It sounds like a firmware issue, and it is a pity there is no external mic jack socket.

this is gotta be the largest complaint I hear from folks when they get a new flat screen , its not loud enough or the sound sounds muffled

flat screens are flat ! so theres no good way for mfg to put the speakers facing forward so sound has to hit the wall behind it first then gets directed forward to you ! (low/muffled)

sound bars help with this , but for true rich sound , id go with a video receiver amp combo , some of these even have built in dvd players , and arrange its speakers in a forward facing direction

I think that rather than the mixer, that your front speakers may have a limiter built into the high frequncey amp. You may be asking them to do more that they are capable of.

If your shelf system is not producing sufficient clean audio power you'll get distortion, which can kill a speaker faster than excessive clean power. Muffling is something else altogether. Are the tweeters working?

after you play a cd while the cd is playing go into your audio settings and adjust theres settings foe each part on a stereo if u set the audio for AM//FM then play a cd the stereo changes to the cd settings

There is a switch at the back of the set for audio, it is in the wrong position.

plug it in properly and replace the internal speaker- simple

I just fixed mine with the same problem. The was a switch on the back by the audio jacks. Move the switch to the opposite position. Hope its the same problem.

First thing you wanna do is to try another set of headphones. If it still sounds muffled then theres a fault in the audio output section and these things are non user serviceable. Your gonna need to send back to the manufacturer. Good Luck
