I also have a pearl; put songs on the sd card & I can't play the songs from the Pearl. I can play them though, through my cell phone. Do you have any answers?

What type sandisk mirco sd cards work?

You didn't buy a microSD card, you bought a microSDXC card.

The Eclipse 180 works with microSD cards (2GB or smaller) and microSDHC cards (32GB or smaller). It does not work with microSDXC cards.

I added a 2gb mirco SD card to my Sansa e270 6.0gb player, but the memory is still only showing 10mb of the original 6.0 gb available for use. How do I get the Sansa to recognize and use the 2 gb mirco SD...

Hi,when you purchase a new micro SD card before use, youwill need to format the memory card so that you will be able to know the actual size of the Micro SD card by checking the details after formatting it.

After formatting the micro SD card and checking the details, if you still do not see the accurate size which is about 1.88mb or the about, that means the micro SD card you bought needs to be replaced. Not a good one.

Have a nice day.

I dont know how to get songs and then download them

You get songs by either ripping them from a CD (with a tool like Windows Media Player), or buying them from a website like Amazon.com.

Once they're on your computer's disk, connect your Pearl player to your computer's USB port. Then find the songs on your computer. Then follow the instructions in the user's guide to copy them onto your Pearl player:

RCA Pearl 2GB-Not reading the music on the micro SD card

The problem was the card was inserted properly. Just a mere incident of stupidity but make sure you here a click from the card and it should read it.

SD card will not stay in

I have the same player, you must insert the mem card until it clicks into place, this locks it in the player and should take care of the prob. Just keep pushing til you feel the click.

I have an rca "pearl" with a micro sd slot, what is this for? i put one in and gained no extra capacity for songs, so is it a backup or what and how is it supposed to work?

sir, micro sd slot is a expansion memory of your mp3. like if you dont have any bytes left on your mp3 and you want to add another songs then sd memory card will be the option. so that you can listen a songs from your mp3 internal memory and micro sd memory card. by the way micro sd is cheaper than any other memory card selling in the market.

thank you for using fixya
