Model number of Sanyo Pro XtraX

My sanyo pro xtrax multiverse projector comes on fans starts but no light comes on. The bulb has been replaced.

That sounds like either the Pixcelworks processor is failing or if the lines are one colour, that colour LCD unit is failing.
Not enough information really. That will be the main possibilities. Tere is an outside chance of a software error in the microprocessor but that is not very likely.

sounds like it could be a problem with the output resolution of the computer. some projectors will not be able to display anything higher than 800x600, and most computers now can output at a higher resolutions. check the limits of the projector and change the the display on the computer by right clicking on your desktop and going to properties >settings >screen resolution.

Is the projector permanently mounted or can you move the projector closer to fit your screen. This should do the trick, unless I'm missing something.

broken lamp?? check for little cracks in the bulb bar.
If lamp is discoloured( dark grey), overheating is cause, no cooling after using the PJ.

this is the normal condition> only when green led is off and warning temp led(yellow) is on something is wrong!!
