My refrigerator and freezer have developed a weird smell like freezer burn or a musty smell that is permeating into all of the food inside and into the ice so everything tastes like this smell. It has gotten worse over the past few days and is definitely not any type of a spoiled food odor. The water tastes fine out of the dispenser. Anyone know what it could be or how to get rid of it?

Many times a freezer and/or refrigerator do not work right because of a dirty condenser coil...there are also many other things that can go wrong.

I should note that I have washed the fridge thoroughly, I have even gone so far as to completely take everything out of the fridge, clean it with bleach and unplug it. The smell is still there. Like I said, this is most definitely not a food odor, it is coming from the somewhere else. I have even had repairmen come look at it and they were just as baffled.
