Change input on Hitachi LCD TV model LE65K6R9 without remote?

I'd unplug/disconnect the Roku and after 30 seconds try the control button on the back. If you can change the input do so, then plug the Roku back in. Until you use the input button on the back to change input to Roku, you should be able to use the other buttons on the back to control the TV. If this does not work, unplug both the TV and the Roku. Wait maybe a minute, then plug the TV back in and follow the above instructions. Here are other alternatives: Using physical buttons: You can find the physical buttons on the left or right back side of the Hitachi TV. Using these keys, you can change the input, adjust the volume, or turn on Hitachi TV without a remote. Press the Input button located at the back or side of the Hitachi TV. The list of connected sources will appear on the TV screen12.

Using external devices: Connect a wireless keyboard or mouse to your Hitachi TV and change the input1.

Buy a universal remote: You can buy a universal remote to control your Hitachi TV and change the source.

I have a sanyo tv without remote and a magnavox digital to analog converter how do get tv to recognise box

Are you using a universal or cable remote to turn it on? It should have a input select button on it. If it changes the tv, put it on COMP or COMPONENT If that don't work, depending on the model and year of the tv there should be some buttons either on the side edge or bottom edge or on the back. Find the input button and press it to get to the COMPONENT input. Your converter should be plugged into the same component inputs on the back of the tv. Yellow to yellow (video) red to red (right audio) and white to white (left audio) Good luck

Can I change HDMI1 to HDMI2 or Video manually without the remote

On some TVs, you can change inputs by using a Source or Input button on the TV. These front panel buttons may be on the bottom of the TV bezel, on the right hand side or on the back on the right side as you face the TV. Once you locate the FPA buttons, you either press the Input button several times. Press the Select equivalent or just wait for the input to change. Alternatively, you need touse the Channel or Volume buttons (one pair becomes Up/Down, the other Left/Right) to navigate through the list. Then hit the button that gives the Select equivalent. A few models let you change inputs after pressing the Menu button on the TV and moving through the on-screen menu to a Source sub-menu. Not all TVs support this.

Please add a comment with the manufacturer and model of your TV for specifics that apply to your TV.

I hope this helps.

(Note: if you replace your remote control, check for a Source or Input button on the universal remote. Then try multiple codes for your TV brand to find a code that gives the input function properly.)

Blue screen need to know how to scan channels to get input to come back up

Will need to know what tv you have, but you are right it is probably your input button. if you pushed it on your remote then there should be an input button on remote. otherwise you will have to go into the tv menu and setup it up there.
if you respond with model and make of tv, might get more info.

I have comcast remote and granddaughter turned tv on side panel. Now screen is fuzzy and I can't find remote that came with tv. I get picture back?

Hello Mary and thank you for choosing FixYa today for your online technical support needs.

When you say the TV is FUZZY, do you mean that there is no picture there at all?

It is possible that your grandaughter may have changed the VIDEO INPUT MODE SELECTOR on the TV by accident when she tried to turn it on with the controls on the TV itself.

Most TVs have a button right on the front of the set itself labelled INPUT which allows you to switch between the various input modes. That button should be located right beside the POWER, CHANNEL, and VOLUME buttons on the TV's front panel.

You may simply need to press the INPUT button and select the proper INPUT SOURCE for your Comcast cable box.

The proper INPUT MODE for your particular setup will depend on how your Comcast cable box is connected to your TV. If your cable box is plugged into your TV with an HDMI cable, then make sure your TV INPUT MODE is set to HDMI.

I hope this helps out, and please feel free to comment back to this page with any additional questions or concerns and I will respond back.

If you do need additional help, please be sure to include the exact model number of your TV and of your Comcast cable box as well as how the two are connected.

Good luck and take care.

Joe.

I have a small elemet tv with a en21645e remote control. My grandson did something to the remote and now I only get the local channels not cable channels although I have cable hookup

Hi there,

The little tyke has most likely pressed the INPUT button on the remote control and switched the TV away from the external input setting required for watching cable TV.

You did not state the model number of the TV and some TVs function differently with regard to the selection of external inputs, but you should be able to return to watching cable by pressing the INPUT button slowly but repeatedly until you can see the picture from the cable channels again. The INPUT button is located in the top right corner of your Element remote.

If an input selection menu appears on screen when you first press the menu button, use the arrow keys to highlight another input, then press ENTER to select it. I can't tell you which will be the correct input as I don't know the model number of the TV and it depends on which type of cable you are using to connect the TV to the cable box. You should try each input in turn until you are able to see the cable channels again. Please make sure the cable box is switched on when doing this!

If you are still having difficulty, please reply to me from within this page with the model number of the TV and the type of cable you are using to connect the cable box to the TV. I will then be able to provide exact instructions for switching your TV back to the cable input.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
BElectric

I do not have a remote for my model LG 42lc50c and i cannot get to switch from AV2. Is there a way to do this without a remote?

The button that switches from AV2 is the "Input" button, on the lower right side of the TV. But keep in mind, another Audio/Video source needs to be plugged into another input (located on the back of the TV) in order for this to work. The TV has to recognize multiple input sources to switch between them.

Ive got bose lifestyle model 5 system and have just bought a samsung led tv, how to I connect up the bose to the tv??

There should be an AUDIO OUT left and right rca input/output plugs on the back of te TV; according to this, (http://www.bose.co.uk/GB/images/Lifestyle%205%20Series%20II%20Music%20System_tcm6-4083.pdf) the inputs for the audio are right next to the FM antenna port/plug so, if you have one of these; (http://www.inmax.ca/images/rca-cable.gif) just plug them in to the AUDIO OUT on your TV, and into the INPUT on your Bose system.
