Hi!

Although I'm not entirely sure what you wish to accomplish, I've included the link to the UM425 owners manual.

If you're trying to enter your MMSI number (Page E-26), be aware that it can only be entered TWICE! After that, you must send the radio to Uniden to be reset.

The best place to get user manauls for any 2-way radio is to join yahoo group specific to the brand and model of your unit, there they will give you advice and lots of useful info for your radio and freely downloadable items including user manual.

Turn the radio on, set the radio to USA then use the up-down channel selector and scroll down to channel 1 that's it. Good luck.
