I have a similar problem as well, TV power on, The red LED blinks 7 times, no picture, no sound, any one know what the problem is?
Thank you for your time!
7 blinks indicates a bad buffer board, usually I replaced the Y board and the buffer/s about $500-600 in parts. but before you buy anything open the set and look at the power supply if you see two capacitors that look swollen , bulging on top they need to be changed and may solve the issue. the power supply is middle top . If you are not wanting to repair it yourself then know that you do have some circuit board repairs needed.
thanks
Eric
