SOURCE: I cannot set the clock on my Teac MC-DX50i

I've found that I can only set the clock using the remote. Press and hold the 'time set' button on the remote, and using the forward and back buttons on either side of the play button, you can change your clock to a 12 hr or 24 hr time setting. Once that is set, press the 'time set' button and that will switch you to the hour, and using the same forward and back buttons, set that. Repeat the process to set the minutes. Press the 'time set' button again to exit out of if, and you're all set!

My 83 mother wants me to set time on her Teac 180 alarm clock?

Hello Hellen Barnett

The "time / set" button is the key to success...
(observe & restore the "lock/run" status when finished)

I could not find your SPECIFIC manual...
but I take strength in the knowledge that once
TEAC has a good design they generally stay in that area.

Take a look at the TEAC CRX188R owner's manual below
