wrong wiring for the speakers. to low of an ohm load so amp is going into protect mode. rewire to 4 ohm stereo.

I just bought 2 12 inch mtx thunder tc512 to replace my old school mtx blue thunders, everything worked great, but when i hooked up the new 12s i get nothing, zero, zip, nadda, there is nothing wrong

Tryin to hook up a mtx electronic crossover rt-01a. i dont know how to hook it up


Your basic crossover is going to have a power (+) and ground (-). Your power wire goes to the battery, and your ground goes to the frame. You will need to hook up your RCA or speaker wires to the input side. Then hook the other two RCA connections to your amp.

Can you bridge 2 4 ohm kicker speakers to a mtx thunder 7801 amp?


Ya. Just hook one sub to your amp (bridged) and hook the other sub (positive and negative) to the first subs positive and negative

blown fuse?speakers on their way out? check the amp fuses, then the inline power fuse.
