Orbit Easy Dial 6 station will not see AC power intermittently and will not run all the stations.

I have an orbit easy dial 6 station. I installed it when we moved into the new house and the old one was not working correctly. The problems I am having are the reason we replaced the old one. With in a week the new one stopped being able to see the AC power I tried it on many outlets. and would not run the programs. So I turned it off and manually turned it on for the rest of the year. Last year I turned it back on and it worked again but for only a week or so. Now I am fighting that problem and when it gets to station 2 it is turning on and only running for 3 minutes and then the timer continues but the water shuts off,or it will run station 1 for all the run times. I do not know what to do to fix this hot mess.

Replace the ac adapter, you should have 24 VAC out of it, check the 24 VAC when each station is running.

SOURCE: I just got an Orbit

You don't program each station. You only program one start time that begins the cycle that consists of the three stations.
Remove all start times but the first one and make that 5:45.
Set the station times to whatever you want, 12 minutes.
At 5:45, station 1 starts.
at 5:57, station 1 shuts off, station 2 starts.
at 6:09, station 2 shuts and station 3 starts.
at 6:21, station 3 shuts.

SOURCE: I have a 6 station

I am somewhat confused about your station numbers. How many stations do you have? What is Ihappening with stations 1, 3, 5, 6?
Regardless, this is probably what is happening.
No matter how many stations you have, YOU ONLY PUT IN ONE START TIME. That one start time begins the cycle that starts with station 1 and proceeds to the other stations based on your station RUN times.
If you have one start time of 6:00 am, and a run time of 60 minutes for each zone, then
At 6:00 am station 1 starts.
at 7:00, station 1 shuts off & station 2 starts.
at 8:00, station 2 shuts and station 3 starts, etc.
You are not programming the individual start times for each station.
If you put in more than one start time, the timer remembers and will run all stations then go back and begin again and if there is a third start time, it will begin a third time.

"my orbit easy dial 6 station quit working in auto

Does it work manually? If so, which is rare and almost unheard of I would replace the timer. You can't buy a less expensive timer $20 for a 4 station. Which explains why it is not working. If it doesn't work make sure it is plugged in and outlet has power.
