SOURCE: LA110, 42" mower deck, 1

Check that the cutting tip of the blade that is cutting lower is not bent down. Also park the mower on a level surface and lower the deck and check the gap under the front of the deck is even. If not, there are levelling adjustments on the top of one side of the deck. Regards Phil

Sounds like the deck is frozen up.

Why does 2017 ZT Elite Bad Boy mower blow 15 amp fuse when trying to raise or lower deck

I DON'T KNOW. IT MAY BE UNDER WARRANTY. CALL SUPPLIER TO SEE IF THEY HAVE FIX OR RECALL.
IF DECK IS MOVED BY HAND, IT SOUNDS LIKE THERE IS A BARE DAMAGED WIRE TOUCHING METAL ON THE MOWER.
ALWAYS BE SAFE BY SHUTTING OFF MOWER AND
REMOVING POSITIVE TERMINAL ON BATTERY, BEFORE
FEELING AND OR LOOKING FOR DAMAGED WIRES.

Craftsman zts 7000 deck adjustment

The front hitch rods are used to raise or lower the deck from front to back. If the adjustment isn't working, look for something that's obstructing movement.

Where is the safety switch to engage the blade

Your lawn tractor will have a lever that raises and lowers the mower deck which houses the two cutting blades. By lowering your mower deck to the desired cutting height, the blades should automatically engage. By raising the deck back to it's highest position, the blades will automatically disengage. Should be simple enough. You can consult your mower manual. If you don't have one, you can easily find it online using the make, model and year of the lawn tractor.

The deck on my mower is lower on one side than the other. Is there a way to raise it up? It is tearing my yard up and scalping. I have a craftsman 15hp 42inch cut command. Any help would be appreciated...

To adjust a Craftsman deck, raise the deck to the normal cutting height.
Measure to the flange on the deck on the right & left sides. It is easier to lower the deck than to raise it, so, on the high side, find the threaded rod that supports the deck. Using a wrench, back off of the nut (counterclockwise as viewed from the end of the rod) until both the left & right sides of the deck are the same height.
Be sure your tires are properly inflated before measuring.

Why does my 42 inched deck craftsman tractor cut uneven?

It needs to be leveled. Level it from side to side and front to back, then drop the front 1/4" lower than the rear. The hangers holding the deck in place are adjustable.

Cutting unevenly

Set the mower on a known flat piece of concrete. Now look at the deck and the support connections where the deck hangs from from the mower. Should be adjustments such as pins with clips or threaded bolt hangers which will allow you to raise or lower the corner of the deck which is low or high. Conversely you could have put a blade in upside down or left out a washer making one blade higher than the other. Usually an owner's manual will detail this process. As you just changed your blades, as opposed to wear and tear, likely you did not put it back together exactly as you took it apart.

Craftsman 917273223 50' cut. Hit a stump with right blade started cutting poorly on right side. Replaced blade still cut bad. Replaced a 3 blades and still cutts bad on right. Held pully and tried to turn...

you need to bring all 3 blades to point at each other on the deck
do they all look the same?
aLL 3 should meet each other evenly with no more than 1/8th inch difference high or low point to point.
the stump strike could have bent the deck on that side
also be sure the fin side of the blades are pointing towards the deck when installed.
check that your deck is level on a level surface and the air pressure in all for tires are up to recommended pressure.
most of the time 14psi front and 10psi rear
