SOURCE: Looking for 2 15amp single pole pushmatic circuit breakers.

A Google search for "15 amp pushmatic" turned up several links. Here's one for a retailer with new ones and an eBay store with cheaper prices (maybe pullouts):

Did you also check the big-box stores like Home Depot or Lowe's or electric suppliers in your area?

SOURCE: I have 2-240V (4.2V) basebaord heaters, Need Wiring Diagram

you get 120V from any phase (black OR red) to neutral
you get 240V from phase to phase (between black and red) and in this scenario you don't need the white wire.
So for you, connect the black to 1 pole of the breaker and the red to the other pole, connect the green wire to the ground strip and you are done.
A white wire is NEVER connected to a circuit breaker anyway, it is a grounded wire, it would be like connecting a green wire to a black wire, bad idea.
the National electrical code specifies red and black wire color for 240VAC circuits.
As Ask Hank mentionned, nothing wrong with 10/3 wire.

SOURCE: Hobart H600 Double Pole Breaker

You need to get a new electrician; a real electrician would read the power requirements on the motor name plate and install the correct voltage and amperage circuit.

A single pole breaker does not supply the same voltage as a double pole breaker. It hums because the voltage is wrong

SOURCE: need new chain for remington pole saw, model

It should, I have been on this earth to long for a definate answer. Both saws have 40 drive links, are 3/8s, and a gauge of 0.050. Please verify my findings here:
Oregon Bar & Chain Selector
http://www.oregonchain.com/pro/lookups/selguide.aspx?BusId=OCS&SellReg=USA&LangId=ENG

Have you contacted a local saw shop? With your chain as a pattern they can make a replacement in couple of minutes. Inquire by phone about a price you may be pleasantly surprised. Give them Oregon number 91VG040G (low kickback, most likely what your saw is fitted with). If you feel adept you might try a slightly more agressive chain but the odds of kick back increase. HTH

We are in no way connected with RemingtonPower. They are no longer in production and replacement parts are very difficult to find. Often eBay is your only source of parts. Sorry. Lou

How do you repair the outside telephone cable line that goes into the junction box when my dog chewed it in half

If it is the cable that comes from the utility pole to the house, you're not allowed to do anything with it. It is the phone compan'y property and they must perform the repair.

I entered the serial and it works, but i failed to activate and asked me to activate through phone. Anyone can help with this? Thanks.

Well you can avoid it by stopping it from doing so.

Navigate to this folder on your computer: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc.
Look for the 'hosts' file, right click it and select 'Properties'.
Uncheck the 'Read Only' box and click 'OK'.
Double left click the 'hosts' file and select 'Choose a program to open this file'. Before choosing one make sure there is No tick in a box stating to 'Always open with this program'. If there is then un-tick it.
You need to select 'Notepad' and double left click it which will open the 'hosts' file in text. If notepad is not in the list the you can navigate to it here: C:\Windows.
On a new line after the last entry copy and paste the following list:

127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 practivate.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 ereg.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 activate.wip3.adobe.com

It should look something like this:

#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.

# For example:

# localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself.

127.0.0.1 wwis-dubc1-vip60.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 activate-sjc0.adobe.com

Click 'file', then 'save' to update and close the document.
Again right click the 'hosts' file, select 'Properties' and replace the 'Read Only' check and click 'OK'.
Close all windows and restart your computer and your done.

Also block it from the Firewall within Windows Control panel if still problematic by un-checking any Adobe related entries.
If you still have an issue open a free email account and post me your email address here and I'll send you a link to a solution. It is slightly more complicated though and the above should do the trick anyway.
Don't post your everyday personal email address on the site though, or any site for that matter as there is always the odd nut-job about who will think it funny to sign you up to 5000 Viagra news letters!

Please rate if this helped your issue.

Bell dial up is at 17kbps uploading at 2 kb/s. is there anyway to speed this up?

A dial-up modem should download up to 50 Kbits/second, on a "clean" telephone-line, and should upload (send from your computer to some site) up to 28.8 Kbits/second.

So, if you're only getting 17 Kbits/second, you have a "noisy" telephone-line -- contact Bell, and get them to measure the line-quality.

When placing a "voice" call over that telephone-line, does it sound scratchy, or otherwise "bad" ? If so, then tell Bell that your voice-quality is "bad". A friend recently got the local telephone-company to replace the wires all the way from the telephone-pole on the street to the junction-box on the side of their house, at *NO* cost to the friend.
The wires were between 30 and 90 years old.

On online Window Vista activation I got the following error code: 0xC004F039, description: The software Licensing Service reported that the computer could not be activated. The key management service (KMS)...

When you try to use a Multiple Activation Key (MAK) or the Key Management Service (KMS) to perform Volume Activation on one or more Windows Vista-based computers, you may receive error codes.

This issue may occur if the KMS host is installed, and the KMS host is not activated.

To troubleshoot this issue, verify that the key that is used is the MAK that was provided by Microsoft.

Use online activation or telephone activation to activate the KMS host.

See Contact Microsoft.

Talkswitch 480 VS no longer shows caller ID Simply "out of area".Can this be repaired?

Call Talkswitch, they will offer a swap for another system and bill you $500 to do so. This happened to me twice. First swap was $250. A year later it is now $500. I was told this increase was due the end of the system life and a shortage on parts. My system is just about 4 years old. My next system will have telephone line surge supperssors inline with the telephone lines.

Can not hear the telephone ring on one of the main phones upstair

You will need to know which line(s), and on which station(s) (extensions) you want each line to ring.

Programming is accomplished as follows:

Default Installer Password = INTERCOM *746
You can enable different ringing assignments for individual lines and stations.
You must program ringing assignments on a per station/per line basis. You can control ringing for every line that has appearance at a station assigning immediate, or direct, ringing to some lines and delayed ringing to others. NOTE: Do not program direct ringing for lines that you assign to the direct department calling feature.
To Program: 1. Dial 54. “STA/LINE CONFIG.”
2. Dial 1 “DIRECT RING”
—OR—
Dial 2. “DELAY RING”
NOTE: For no station ringing, skip step 3 and make no line selection.
3. Select line ports for ringing (LED On = Selected Ports).
—Line port 1–14 = Dial 01–14 or press A1–A14
—Line port 15, 16 = Dial 15, 16 or press B1, B2
—Line port 17–24 = Dial 17–24 or press HOLD then press A1–A8.
4. Dial # when all line ports are selected.
5. Select station ports (LED On = Feature Assigned)
—Station 10–57: Dial 10–57 or press C10–C57.
6. Dial * when all station ports are selected
—OR—
dial ** for next station/line ringing assignment
—OR—
dial ***for configuration mode.
To clear current setting, repeat procedure.

Use an LCD speakerphone and a DSS/BLF console at station port 11 or 13 to see which features are assigned to individual stations. While you can install any non-LCD digital telephone and use it for programming, visual feedback of the programming operations will not be available. You must always keep the handset of the LCD speakerphone on-hook while you use this telephone to program the system.
