THE PROVIDER FOR YOUR AREA IS EITHER EX C&W UK (5C 01), PURE NTL UK (54 01) OR TELEWEST UK (5A 01)
THE PROVIDER ID NEEDS TO BE CHANGED:
E.G. IF YOU ARE IN EX C&W UK CHANGE THE VALUE FROM "00 00" TO "5C 01"
E.G. IF YOU ARE IN PURE NTL UK CHANGE THE VALUE FROM "00 00" TO "54 01"
E.G. IF YOU ARE IN TELEWEST UK CHANGE THE VALUE FROM "00 00" TO "5A 01"
ENTER THE KEYS FOR YOUR AREA AS SHOWN IN THE KEYMASTER SOFTWARE & PRESS THE OK BUTTON TO SAVE. THIS WILL BRING THE CHANNELS BACK TEMPORARILY WHILST A NEW SOFTWARE IS BEING RELEASED.

Even thought your phone is unlocked from virgin the software is still a virgin viewity software. your can try and press on the arrows <<<<>>>>> at the bottom of the screen when the come up this will allow you to remove the network label but not on startup that requres a mobile shop to reflash the phone with generic software which will cost up to £25 shop around
SOURCE: I have an unlocked bigpond modem ,and I am trying to
once you get the setup disk from virgin and you put your sim into the Bigpond modem, gollow the Virgin prompts it should work once you have searched the right network parameters and entered the IMEI code etc. It takes about 24 hours for virgin to switch you online.
