Check whether the filament of the picture tube glows. If not, check all the solder terminals to CRT base socket. Check the serial resistor connected to the supply voltage to filament. . Check the continuity of filament with a multi-meter.If

The capitors on the back might be bad this I have fixed on these tv's many times. That could be one of the problems and the capitors are on the power board inside the tv. If you do not know how to work on electronics I would have a pro do it they contain hight voltage so be careful if you try to fix it yourself.thanks
Hi, If you change the capacitor...Did you clean the oil of the capacitor from its surrounding area, because due to oil it could short the components, Check first Filament is lighten-up ? If yes then check ABL Voltages, if filament voltages not present check horizontal out put transistor. and check also safty resistances in surrounding area of H OUT Transistor.
