Hi there Well,

The siphon for soap (etc) only will work on the low pressure setting. Look for the nozzle with the largest opening. It's normally Black if they are color coded. Switch to that one and try it again.

You won't have any problems.

Do you have it on low pressure. This is usually done with the nozzle end depending on the model, They only apply soap at low pressure

Power washer 12poe-170 takes 5 minutes to build up max pressure
not a new gun but the nozzle removed and cleaned out. Pressure units work through a regulator that is controlled by the flow through the nozzle. If there is insufficient flow the regulator unloads the pump. It the flow is too low the regulator opens and closes as the pressure fluctuates. removing the blockage allows full flow and full operation of the regulator.

Hello, check the hose connection on the pump. There is generally a screen there to prevent dirt from entering the pump. Clean off this screen and all should be well.

These aren't bad pumps but they do wear, and they cannot take idling without moving water. If you don't have a temp sensor add one to provide some flow if you idle too long. You can find parts at www.pressure-washer-parts.com
