Remove all usb drives. Reboot computer. Log back in. Go to services and do the following:
1. Find the "Removable Storage" service.
2. Change it to manual.
3. Stop the service.
4. Reboot and log back in.
5. Plug your flash drive back in to a USB port.
You should now not only see it, but it will be accessible and useful for storage.

I am forgetful (mentally disabled) Having trouble keeping one email add.,user name, password remembered.unable now to access any sicial media site, emails etc. Please help me delete all unaccesable accounts.

Lots of people have problems remembering user name, password and questions that they set up for each new account. The best way to solve this is to keep a note book and list your web site, username, password and question/answers there so that you can refer back. Keep it in a safe place, somewhere close to your computer station.
Other ways to remember a password is to pick something that is around you that you like - say, a picture. It might be a place?
Advice is to have a password for every different account so that someone who knows one password cannot access all of your accounts. This is where the note book really helps, especially with accounts that you don't access every day.
As I said - everybody has this problem and it gets worse as you get older.
As for deleting your in-accessible accounts: You know which service provider you are using for social media etc; Contact them and explain your problem. They may send you access to your files and issue a new password for you.
I hope this helps.

Some USB memory-sticks have a "slider" type of switch.

In the other position, you CANNOT write files onto the device.
Move the switch to the other position.

Pendrive identified but not accessible

Hey I have solved the problem posted by me yesterday regarding pendrive not being accessed. It is a Transcend pendrive of 2GB capacity. I went to website www.transcendusa.com. Then I went to Tech support and selected my location(eg. India) through their user friendly menu. Then it asked for the product. I mentioned USB flash drive. Imediately it displayed an ONLINE recovery. I selected the pendrive from USB flashdrive. i.e mine is V series, V30. Then through the download link provide for different operating system viz. in my case windows XP I downloaded the onlinerecovery.exe file, plugged in my pendrive. It gives option of repair & retaing data or Repair & erase data. I went for the first one and my pendrive was repaired in 5 minutes and my data was restored intact. I got back all my files. Hope this will be very useful to Transcend pendrive users. Most of the problems are repaired by them the firm claims. Try it out and happy pendriving.

Pendrive is write protected......!!!!

1st your pendrive
your pendrive is infected with Autorun.inf virus
to remove this virus install malwarebytes and scan your whole system as well as your pendrive

If the above method is not work

Try to format in other operating system like vista or in 7
but not in xp because in vista and 7 you can force format your pendrive..

2nd your task manager
visit the website and download task manager and registery fix (it is only work in windows xp)
