Whirlpool washer stops in the middle of cycle does not rinse and

Dear Experts, Hello! I have a Whirlpool washer Imperial series, Ultimate Care II , Quiet Wash, model number LSN 2000J.
I have been using it for almost 10 years and was very pleased until recent. It started stopping before Rinse cycle, leaving close in dirt water. You have to eather restart it in the middle of cycel ( though it rearely respond) or switch to Low spin and go to extra Rinse. It does spin after the restart - so it looks like it is an electrical issue ( timer may be?) not mechanical. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Please help with advise.

Thank you very much,

Vladimir.

If your washer stops at the same time each wash, you have a dead spot in your timer. It will need to be replaced. .

Whirlpool Washer - Imperial Series Quiet Wash 2

your washers drain hose is too far down the drain pipe which is causing a siphoning action pull the washers drain hose out pipe some you should be able to hear water dropping into the pipe the reason it only happens in the rinse cycle is because the water from wash is being drained and before the water vacuum is broken the rinse water comes in causing it to keep draining
