Fujitsu air con unit. Remote wont work. has new batteries

Start by replacing the batteries to your remote control and make sure there is nothing blocking the IR receiver on the unit itself. If that is blocked by something hanging on it or tape over it from something hanging on it previously.

Try resetting the unit itself by shutting the breaker off then turn it back on and see what happen

Try with this method which happened last week experience. Replace new batteries. And also remove dc wire to indoor unit display sensor. And after 3 minutes fix it again. And now start with remote. Mostly it will. If not, you have to replace receiving sensor in PCB or replace complete PCB. Please write back about the result. Thanks.

In many units no option to use manually without remote and also it's not advisable. With your statement, I conclude your remote is defective and not repairable. Replace with new remote. Helpful?

First check your timer on and off. If you want to reset, remove batteries from remote and power off to unit. Reset it. Now run the unit. Set temp mode once again in your remote and wait for 3 minutes. If still out door unit not working, check power line to out door unit.

You're right! It's receiving sensor problem with your PCB. Only repairman who knows electronic tech could only repair. I could say the cost of repair in Indian Rupees IRS.850/- maximum. Hope it's helpful?

Have you checked the battery's in your remote?

If you contact Fujitsu in your country and you will be able to buy it straight from them, if they are still available. Now I have to warn you as a Fujitsu warrenty agent they are very very expensive.

I would prolly recommend getting a universal remote. ALOT cheaper

Check your remote control by using a camera or cellphone camera as your eyes to confirm if the remote control is ok. Point the remote control transmitter to your camera and check if a light emits in your remote control transmitter. If no light then the remote control is defective, but if the light is present then the remote is ok and the unit receiver board itself is defective.

Check also if there is a reset or rst button on the remote control, press the button and test the remote.

I had a similar problem with only fan air then the blinking lights, found out that mice had got into the circuit board and corroded some connections with their urine. I would try the above solution by turning the power off for ten sec first but remember that you have to leave it for a few minutes before you operate remote.
