Jensen vm9311ts problem

I bought this unit in 4/07. It just started having this problem. I ejected a cd and it did eject...but stood ejecting. It makes the ejecting noise all the time. I reset it and then it goes away but will not accept any cds afterwards...I can push the cd all the way in and wont accept. So then I hit eject and it makes the ejecting sound again so I tried forcing a cd in while it was ejecting. It accepts it and occassionally after many resets will play the cd. ANyone had this problem before?

The player thiinks the CD is still in the player. you have a shorted or open sensor. Usually thee players have 3 phto sensors to tell the controller that a Disc is inserted , or ejected or present. Sometimes a wire or piece of lint covers a sensor and makes the controller think the CD is still there. Get you a can of Air from Radio Shack and blow out the DVD drive You might get lucky and this do the job.

My CD player in my truck will not take a CD in!! How can I fix it?? It is a Jensen Model # VM9311TS

is this a recent problem? as in you have put cd's in before? if this is the case the disk sensor may be dirty or thinks it has a disk in it already. hit eject a few times and see it it dose anything, if not use a pen to reset it to factory settings and reboot it's self, worth a shot...

My uv8 wont eject my disk

I suggest you disassemble the radio and take it out that way. While your in you can check on the blockage. Shouldn' t be hard. Good luck.

Cd ejects

New CDs may have some rough spots around the inner and outer edges. If such a CD is used, this unit may reject the CD. To remove these rough spots, rub the edges with a pencil or ball-point pen, etc.
