the water should take care of lube and cooling. word of warning...absulutely,positively,do not run this machine without water hooked up and running thru the pump. just a minute without water, and the pump will be junk!!!
Hi ruthkapres: Here is a diagram. The unloader/spill valve is #12 on page D2 or F2 depending on your model. You must pull it out, inspect the o-rings for dents or tears and make sure the valve is lubricated with a good water proof lubricant.
Hello cgreers: I am assuming you are speaking of the pump pistons, not the motor. 10W30 oil is OK but you must be sure it is NON DETERGENT. Also be sure the reservoir is only 1/3 to 1/2 full.
Most likely your air filter is plugged or dirty, or the crank case vent valve needs to be cleaned.if it still does it check that the oil level is at the full mark, if overfilled it would cause the same problem.
It sounds like you are referring to the oil in the swash plate housing. You can use a multi grade motor oil such as 20w50 or 10w40. Fill to about half way over the swash plate. If the old oil has gone amilky colour, please replace the oil seals first.
