Jabra BT 350 has stopped connecting

My Jabra BT350 has worked great for months. Today it is fully charged and won't connect. I tried setting it up again and my Motorola Razor says it can't find any devices. Please help.

    Hi,

Same problem, worked fine for weeks, then my phone cannot find any device on my fully charged Jabra BT350. Shut off both phone and Jabra, restarted both, still no connection. Did *228 to phone to update, no help. No bluetooth listed on phone, cannot find any new device.

My Jabra BT 350 worked fine for months and has now stopped connecting. Same as several others above. Tried all avenues without success. Why isn't anyone posting solutions? The "solutions" listed are just repeats of the problem listing.

My Jabra BT 350 was connecting to my Sprint Treo for months then all of the sudden it stopped working. My Treo was unable to connect. I tried all different pass Keys, but it was unsuccessful. I tried four Zeros, 1234 & the last four numbers of my cell Phone number. " HELP"

I have the exact same problem. Worked perfect for 6 months and all of the sudden it won't connect with my RAZR. It just says "Unable to connect" but the phone works fine with another bluetooth headset. Anyone other suggestions?

Hey everyone! I had the same problem, and I actually got it to work again! I hope these directions will help you get yours to work (from the manual):
1. Put the headset in pairing mode
• Make sure the headset is off.
• Press and hold the answer/end button until a solid blue light comes on. <== THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT! HOLD THE BUTTON UNTIL YOU SEE A SOLID NON-BLINKING LIGHT! (This is where I was going wrong with the directions.)
2. Set your Bluetooth phone to ‘discover’ the Jabra BT350
Follow your phone’s instruction guide. This usually involves going to a ‘setup,’ ‘connect’ or ‘Bluetooth’ menu on your phone and selecting the option to ‘discover’ or ‘add’ a Bluetooth device.
3. Your phone will find the Jabra BT350
Your phone then asks if you want to pair with it. Accept by pressing ‘Yes’ or ‘OK’ on the phone and confirm with the passkey or PIN = 0000 (4 zeros).

Good luck!

The best thing I would suggest is try a different model bluetooth because I work for Asurion which is the cell phone insurance used by Verizon Wireless and it seems to be a known issue that they quit working with phones. Especially with a LG.

I am experiencing the same exact problem. I have a Razor and the Jabra worked fine for a year. Now my Razor says it can't find it. I hope someone can shed some light on this.

Will not charge

My bt350 had similar issue. I looked "down" into the charge port (the "socket" at the fat end, where the cord plugs in), and saw that I had bent one of the "tines" (the little metal "wires") down.
I pried it up with a straightened out paperclip, being VERY careful not to touch two wires at the same time, just in case. Once I got it bent back straight, it charges like normal, though I admit I am very careful when plugging it in, now.
Hope that helps; best of luck! :-D

New jabra 350 can't be charged

right out of the box i had the light flicker on me too. if you don't have warranty or receipt like i did try this. i'm not responsible if it doesn't work after!

peel off the blue part of plastic that has jabra on it. take a screwdriver and unscrew the star screws. take the cover off. using some wires, briefly connect a battery (i used a wireless drill battery) to the leads of the bluetooth battery. you'll see a spark.

now my thing is charging for the first time

Jabra BT350 stopped connecting

BR, I had the same problem with my BT350 and my Razr V3c. I was finally able to resolve the problem by doing the following:
- delete BT350 from device list on Razr
- start Razr looking for device
- put BT350 in pairing mode while phone searching (hold answer button till solid blue light)
- phone will detect BT350 and retrieve name
- select Jabra BT350
- say 'yes' to bond with Jabra BT350
- enter passkey - 0000
- phone will connect with Jabra BT350

Jabra BT350 Bluetooth Headset

This is what I did:
1. open the headset by following these steps:
http://www.instructables.com/id/Jabra-BT-350-Disassembly-and-Repair/
2. measure the voltage of the battery. If it is too low, the internal charger circuit may not like it. Mine was 2.6v.
3. Charge the battery "manually" by connecting to 3 serially connected rechargeable batteries (final voltage should be around 3.7v). Three NiMH AA batteries are fine.
4. Reassemble and hope your headset is back to business.
