Moen kitchen faucet. I changed the cartridge but

Moen kitchen faucet. I changed the cartridge but the hot water still leaks. I tried flushing fixture out but still leaks only hot even if turned to cold . It is an older faucet. 97 or 98. The bottom of the new cartridge is a little different. Its really got me puzzled, if it seals the cold why not the hot?

Single or dual lever? A new ball if single lever. Home Depot or Menards will carry them. Teflon tape if dual cartridge. Stay away from moving parts

Moen single handle pull out kitchen faucet is clogged

There are flow checks in either the hot and cold supply lines, or there is one on the hose. It sounds like it is failing. If it's an older model, then the flo checks will be located right at the end of the two copper tubes coming out of the faucet, and can be removed using needle nose pliers. If it's a newer model, then the check is in the hose and the hose will need to be replaced.

Moen Eva two handle lavatory faucet - hot water leak from faucet. Old cartridge removed (had to get a special tool to remove it), new cartridge installed, and leak fixed. Four days later, leak is back...

Hot water side of most faucets give most problems try heating with hairdryer pryor to trying to remove, contact moen tell them of your situation they will more than likely send you a new cartridge free of charge if you raise enough stink about just replacing cartridge.

I get hot water but no cold water from my moen one hand tub fixture.

pretty sure that model has shut-off's/stop's.they are on either side of the center of faucet, they take a slotted screw-driver.check that, and the balancing spool could be clogged,if the stop's are open check the cartridge real good,as well as the faucet body for any debris. if you end up pulling the cartridge flush out the valve body to prove flow from both hot,and cold.

Moen one control shower faucet is leaking hot water

Try replacing the cartridge first. That's your best bit . Next would be the whole valve. Hopefully, it's just the cartridge.

Moen One-Handle Kitchen Faucet Leak - Hot Only

Moen uses a cartridge on their faucets. You have to remove the handle. You will find the stem and a small U shaped retainer. Pull the retainer out and pull the cargridge straight up. Sometimes the cartridge is in there pretty tight and you have to pull hard. Once you do this, take the cartridge to your local hardware store. Replace it with the one you have because they have 2 different one. Install it back in the same order it was removed. Hope this helps and good luck.
