sounds like you have a unloader valve problem or a crack in the pressure manifold housing between pressure outlet and unloader valve assy allowing unloader to cycle on/ off
or some dirt trapped in the unloader valve seat , make sure you have good supply of water - ie good flow from tap to pump
try cleaning unloader 1st and fitting in line tap filter
This can be caused by three different components. Either your unloader valve has failed, your valves have stuck open in the head of the pump or your water seals are worn. If you get an initial jolt of pressure when you squeeze the trigger then we know the problem lies in the unloader valve and you will need to purchase an unloader valve repair kit. If not you will more than likely have to replace the valves and seals in the pump.
I think there are 4 bolts you have to take out, they are at the end of the pump,, but i think the intake and output are on that part,,,also if you ever cant find a karcher pump a king will fit
It is warrantied for 1 or 2 years. Low pressure could be due to the un-loader valve needing grease. If it is leaking it will not work properly. If it is stored somewhere cold during winter months the small parts inside will crack.
Depends on the model, but it is probably the pump, Most Karchers do not use expensive pumps. Also, if the end of your hose is off, you won't get much pressure either as it takes a restriction in the end of the hose to increase the pressure. I have commercial pressure washing business & occasionally have an hose end come off, pump problem or high pressure switch problem, but all this stuff can be fixed. Hope this helps you, Rick
most auto stores have high pressure connectors and or machines to make these connections. Also there are radiant heat connectors that may or may not fit.
