I have over 10 years experience in electronic tech support.
I
know this isn't what you want to hear, but the problem you've described
can't be fixed with troubleshooting. Your TV will have to be repaired.
There is a part that has developed a defect and needs to be replaced.
The 4 red blinks is similar to an error code. It represents what's wrong with the TV to a service tech who knows how to repair it. If you're still in warranty, the TV will be repaired at no charge to you. The warranty would likely be at least one year from the date of purchase from the manufacturer. If you purchased an extended service plan they will repair the TV at no charge as well.
If the TV is no longer in warranty, it will likely cost a minimum of $150 parts and labor. This is assuming that you only need a power supply module. If the problem is one of the video circuit boards, the price of repair could go much higher.
I hope I've provided you useful assistance and that this information
allows you to make an informed decision as to how to proceed from here.

Sounds like the connections on the CRT Socket or CRT circuit board. Remove back and check connections.
You could also have buildup on the cathodes of the electron gun (internally) to redimie you must have set in operation and viewing video. Tap the neck of the tube gently while watching for the colors to change until they Stabileize, this is best seen whith the color turned off.
Good Luck

This is a protection mode. The receiver protection circuit detects an internal problem like missing power supply voltage or blown channel and shuts down the receiver. You need to bring the unit to a repair facility.
