You might want to delete the Jabra headset from the Rumor first, and make sure the phone is powered off. Then put the Jabra into pairing mode (usually done by powering on the Jabra and pressing and holding until the indicator light flashes) and set the Rumor 2 to detect new devices. Once it detects the Jabra, connect and input 0000 (four zeros) and it should connect.

My phone asks for headset in "discoverable mode" How do I get it there?

What kind of phone do you have? I have heard people with LG phones say that it does not pair with their phone. If this is not an issue with you then these steps may be more helpful:
1. Charge your Jabra BT135 until the solid blue LED turns off
(approximately 2 hours)
2. Make sure the Jabra BT135 is switched off
3. To put the Jabra BT135 in pairing mode, press and hold the multifunction
button until the LED stops flashing and turns solid blue
4. Set your mobile phone to "discover" the Jabra BT135 (see your phone
user guide)
5. Press Yes or OK when asked if you want to pair the phone with the
Jabra BT135
6. Enter passkey or PIN = 0000 (4 zeros), then press Yes or OK
7. Your phone will confirm when pairing is complete and your headset
will flash

I have a samsung phone and i am trying to pair it with my jabra vbt185z but i don't know the passkey...i tried using 0000 but that didn't work. so what else can i do to make it work?

You do need the passcode. It should "auto pair" but the default passkey or pin is 0000 (4 zeros.)

Here is a link to the user manual
http://www.jabra.com/sites/Jabra/GNimages/Products/WirelessHeadset/BT2010/Documents/UM/VBT185z_UM_6198.pdf

Headset Pairing Readiness Instructions:

1. Fully charge headset for two hours.

2. The headset will automatically go into pairing mode if no device has

been previously paired.

3. Set your mobile phone to 'discover Jabra VBT185Z'.
4. Enter passkey or PIN = 0000 (4 zeros), then press Yes or OK.

I bought a jabra bt 2050...i cant get the led light to stay on..it only wants to flash...and it wont pair with my blackberry storm

Try to press and hold the center on/off button for 10 seconds, this will put the Jabra BT2050 into paring mode.

Assumptions made:
1) The BlackBerry is Bluetooth enabled.
2) The Jabra BT2050 is fully charged.

Hope this help.

My nokia E63 wont find bluetooth headset

I had a similar problem with my headset.. but found the solution.. I am using Jabra 2010.. ok.. so just switch "off" the headset...go to the pair menu on e63.. then switch on the headset.. and then look for new pair devices option.. voila it came up. hv been trying for almost 3 weeks before i got the sequence right.. somehow if u had switched the headset on beforehand.. it wouldnt recognise it only.. the solution is here at jabra website .. although.. they dont hv e63 listed .. but the same procedure for e71 worked fine for my handset..

Pairing with a phone

this happened to me too.. i googled a user manual for it.. if i recall it said, turn the headset power off, then once the phone is in pairing mode, hold the power button on the headset till the light stops blinking and becomes a solid blue light. then the headset is in pairing mode as well and your phone should find it
