    Same as others.

Had the TV for about 3 years and couple days ago, when we were playing a DVD, suddenly the screen went blank but sound was still OK. Any idea how to fix it?

Biggest pile of junk I have ever purchased. Tried to get warranty, they wanted me to box up unit and send to California, I live in Maryland. Now when I take the unit to a repair shop and I will pay .They tell me parts are no longer Available. GOOD JOB AKAI

I repaired mine. It had the same problem. Could be power supply. If you open it then maybe I can help.

We have a Samsung PS50Q91HDX Plasma Tv which is not quite 3yrs old. Ever since we have had it, it turns itself on & off at random but this is not the main problem. Last night we were watching a show...

This is weird. I also have a plasma 50" model PS5Q91HDX and on the 5/02/11 the screen went blank when my friends daughter was watching a Wiggles DVD. The image kept coming back, flashing a scene or two before going black again. But the sound is perfect.

I wonder what is going on? Is anyone else having trouble with their 3-4 year old Samsung 50" TVs???

The picture went out on my plasma tv last night. i can hear the channels changing and the volume works just no picture. is that a blown bulb?

It may only be a power distribution problem which comes from age and leaving it on 24/7. This should only be a $100.00 fix unless you have a friend in the field.

Akai 42 in. PDP4294

The high voltage power supply for the plasma display has failed. It may or may not be on a separate board that could be replaced the owner. If you find a separate board, it may have its own fuse which you could check for continuity with an ohmmeter.

No pic but sound :/

You are having a high voltage problem. Quite possibly in the horizontal deflection. I would check the horizontal output and regulator transistors.

NO TV PICTURE

The best way is to contact your service provider and ask them to trouble shoot guide you, there should be a way to reset or diagnose the receiver or if you prefer go back to the place you bought it and ask for a replacement, You should still have the manufacturer's warranty, check that as well.
