How do you change background color on picture

If you want to upload your own background image or customize the sidebar and color scheme of your page, follow the steps below.

1. Sign in to your account.
2. Go to your Settings and click on the Design tab.
3. Scroll down to the Customize your own section.
4. Click on Choose file to upload a background image. images justify to the top left of the screen. You cannot stretch your image to fit. It will display as the size you uploaded (file must be smaller than 2MB).
5. Check the box to Tile background if you want your picture to repeat across the background.
6. Choose whether your Background position will be left, center or right.
7. If your image isn't very large, choose the background color that will show behind the image.
8. Choose a color for links.
9. Choose a black or white transparent overlay.
10. Click Save changes.

on the desk top right click go to properties a window will open select: personalise on windows7 (not home starter edition)

3. Under How should the picture be positioned, choose to have the picture fit the screen, tile, or be centered on the screen, and then click OK.
   

Note

If you choose to have a centered picture as your desktop background, you can also have a color background to frame your picture. Under How should the picture be positioned, click Change background color, click a color, and then click OK.

Windows 7 Starter edition comes with one desktop background, which can't be changed or customized. Please see this link for details.

3. Under Picture position, click the arrow and choose whether to crop the picture to fill the screen, fit the picture to the screen, stretch the picture to fit the screen, tile the picture, or center the picture on the screen, and then click Save changes.
   

Note

If you choose to have a fitted or centered picture as your desktop background, you can also frame your picture with a color background. Under Picture position, click Fit or Center. Click Change background color, click a color, and then click OK.
Tip

To make any picture stored on your computer (or a picture you are currently viewing) your desktop background, right-click the picture, and then click Set as Desktop Background.

You can add more desktop backgrounds to your collection from the Personalization Gallery on the Windows website.

This can be found in the Help and Support section of Windows on your laptop.

In Microsoft Windows Operating system close all windows and right click your mouse on the desktop. This will pull up a menu that includes an option "Properties" select that option and it will open a dialog that will let you change the background image.

Putting a background on the palm centro phone could either mean adding a background picture or changing the background color. If changing the color is is desired then its simple:
•Select the the 'System' category in the drop down menu at the top of the main screen.
•Open the Prefs application.
•Select 'Color theme' (near the bottom of the Prefs options).

The Color theme option displays a list of many different screen color settings. Each one of the color themes can be selected and tested on the centro until you find the one you like. Adding a picture for a background is a different matter. I haven't found out how to do that yet.

To change the windows vista desktop background,
start by right-clicking on a blank area of the desktop.
Click Personalize from the menu that pops up.
Click on the desktop background link.

choose your desktop background by following these steps:

1. Select the kind of background you want from the location menu.
2. Click on the desktop background you wish to use.
3. Select how you want the picture to be positioned.
4. Click the OK button

That's a universal problem with using the built-in software to set the picture.
