I have a samsung hl-r6178w, it suddenly turned off & the 3 lights in the front started blinking & it would not turn back on. i replaced the lamp now & still nothing, what can i do?
Check you lamp door switch.check lamp drvier board has 310 v ? if no may be power board bad if 310 v ok may be main board bad .
The power board ic converter is dead.
U can tries to go to the web buy the part and replace it yourself.Or hire the repair man part and labor $575

turns on or tries to turn on, do you or can you hear a humming, buzzing or rapid click noise coming out of the tv? if you say yes this could be an issue with the ballast and most likely needs to be replaced as soon as possible the definition of a ballast and how it works is this: A ballast is an electrical component used with a fluorescent bulb (or mercury vapor lamp or arc lamp) to conduct electricity at each end of the tube.
